Background
This newly trained agile team together with a vendor were tasked to implement and configure the Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management tool. With no practical agile experience, this engagement was to plan the work required to deliver an initial pilot and get the team up and running with the day to day agile activities. In addition, there needed work visibility and methods to provide project updates in line with IT governance and reporting (waterfall-focused).
Goals
- Product Owner support including how to devise product roadmap with milestone planning, work prioritisation, epic definition and how to support the project team.
- Setup Kanban and Jira boards for team and wider stakeholder visibility & reporting metrics.
- Upskill Scrum Master with day to day team support for daily stand-ups, sprint planning, user story and acceptance criteria definition, estimations, demos and retrospectives including how to maintain both physical and digital boards.
Achievements
- Product Owner and Delivery Team capability uplift turning agile and scrum theory into practice.
