Background

• South Metropolitan TAFE engaged Lifting Lanterns to support their women in defence student program.
• Support was provided via a series of group workshops to deliver tailored content with 1 on 1 coaching personalised to the needs of each student.

Goals

• Improve student ability to self-manage during this period of study whilst preparing their transition to the workforce. 
• Understanding the job interview process, how to prepare for it and be successful in landing the role.
• How to work within a team with a continuous improvement focus. 

Achievements 

• Improved ability to personally assess their own strengths and areas of development.
• Uplift in confidence for interview preparation and delivery.
• Understanding how a positive mindset impacts how peers respond to contributing to an uplift in collective team performance.
